Thermal Imaging

Our Thermal Imaging Services, entails a survey of a property or vessel and it highlights any areas of concern for the client mainly in relation to temperature losses where they have issues with the thermal envelope on these areas. Thermal Imaging is an advanced, non-invasive technology that allows us to show clients things about their homes or buildings that can't be revealed using conventional inspection methods. These may include dampness, electrical issues and/or leaks.
After the survey is carried out we further analyse the images and data captured from the survey in our software and assess if there are any locations that are of any concern. These images are then compiled into a report and details of the findings are also added with recommendations where possible of what action would be needed going forward for the client.

Passive House

As an independent company we offer the client the advice and guidance in making the best decision to suit their needs. Selecting the correct path to a Passive House is crucial is in making your Return on Investment work best for you.

In Ireland, it is calculated that a typical house built to the Passive House standard instead of the 2002 Building Regulations would consume 85% less energy for space heating and cut space-heating related carbon emissions by 94%

Air Tightness

We provide NSAI Certified Air Tightness Testing in Galway, Limerick, Dublin and Ireland Nationwide. We carry out pre tests and final tests to be used in the final BER reports. On each test we use smoke pins to show the Home Owner any air leaks and if possible try and seal these leaks at no extra cost.Air Tightness Testing is an assessment of the air permeability, tightness or leakage of a building. The process of air testing shows the buildings’ performance at retaining conditioned air and the loss of conditioned air through the structure of the building. Hession Energy blower door systems consist of a door panel which temporarily seals an open doorway and a calibrated fan. The air permeability is then calculated using the pressure difference between inside and outside of the building, and the air flow rate between the fan(s) to produce that pressure difference.
